F9 Must-have programs

This is a list of programs that I must have – anytime I install F9. I’m sure this list will grow with time. I wanted to get this list officially started.

yum install:

  • munin
  • lm_sensors
  • lm_sensors-sensord
  • ntfs-3g
  • httpd (Apache)
  • mysql-server
  • phpMyAdmin
  • hddtemp
  • sysstat
  • procps

    I have since given up on munin. I think it was causing hiccups every 5 minutes for ~2 seconds while it updated. I have also started working more with postgresql and phpPGAdmin. Also, Webmin and Usermin are beautiful programs for maintaining all of your services in one web-based place.
